Rosie Dalling speaks at Next Level Leaders on taking ownership of your careeR

Rosie recently spoke at the Next Level Leaders event at the National Portrait Gallery, delivering a keynote on how leaders can take ownership of their careers and lead with greater intention and confidence.

The session explored how clarity of direction — a leader’s bigger why — becomes a stabilising force in moments of change, uncertainty and transition. Rather than waiting for permission, promotion or perfect conditions, Rosie invited leaders to reflect on what truly motivates them and how that insight can shape braver career decisions.

Drawing on her work with senior leaders and leadership teams, Rosie shared practical ways to:

  • Clarify personal drivers and values

  • Take ownership of career direction, even within complex organisations

  • Communicate ambition with confidence and credibility

  • Move from reacting to opportunity, to actively shaping it

The event created space for reflection and conversation, encouraging leaders to step back from day-to-day demands and reconnect with the bigger picture of where they are heading — and why it matters.
