Rosie has coached over 1,000 senior leaders and reviewed 256 coaching sessions looking for a pattern. She didn't find one. Two people can work in identical roles but have completely different ‘Bigger Whys’.

What to expect

This is an active session. Your people will reflect, write, share, and leave with something ready to action.

We start with what a Bigger Why actually is…and what it isn't. Money is never the final answer. Recognition is never a sustainable reward. We help your people look further and deeper than both.

Then we go to work finding it. The Bigger Why is often found in three places:

Something you were lucky enough to receive in childhood. A person who saw your potential before you did. Very often, the thing we give to the world is the thing we needed most ourselves.

Something you missed out on or had to fight for. Viktor Frankl observed that the people who survived the most appalling circumstances were the ones who had a Bigger Why. Sometimes your pain is a trampoline.

Sharmadean Reid walked away from a profitable business because it had drifted so far from her Bigger Why she couldn't justify continuing. She went on to become the first Black woman in the UK to secure seed funding. Knowing your Why doesn't make you restless.
